Savoring a Very Special Fancy Valentine’s Dinner at Old 290 Brewery & Restaurant

Equal parts refined and cozily rustic, Old 290 Brewery & Restaurant offers charming Texas Hill Country hospitality – serving American steakhouse-inspired fare, award-winning wines produced by just-down-the-road Carter Creek Winery and craft-created award-winning small batch light and pale ales and hearty stouts. The restaurant’s elegant Valentine’s Dinner is four courses starting with Ahi Poke served with spicy garlic sauce, avocado salad and fried wontons. Next, Lobster Bisque with lemon air and black truffle shavings. The main attraction is Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon accompanied by asparagus spuma, fondant potatoes, Swiss chard and sherry wild mushroom jus. To end this beautiful, romantic meal is Valentine’s Martini composed of crème brûlée, amaretto-infused chocolate mousse, chocolate truffle and a chocolate-covered strawberry. This elevated dining experience includes a welcome toast of Sparkling Ruby Cuvee.
Four-course Special Valentine’s Dinner is $70, excluding tax and gratuity; or $90 includes Carter Creek wine pairing. Reservations should be made via Open Table.

- Couples’ Far-Infrared Treatment and Massage
This rejuvenating treatment combines infrared, detoxifying pain relief with a customized couple’s massage to deliver ultimate wellness. First there is a 50-minute custom massage in the Spa’s couples’ room complemented with lavender-infused warm towels and followed by a relaxing lavender scalp massage. Next is a time to detox and sleep in the far-infrared sauna with a 50-minute private session. The Far-Infrared Treatment is designed to boost the immune system, detox and heal.
